James has a wealth of experience in the AIM market and operations. Previously, he spent over 10 years in the general insurance industry, including his role as Chief Financial Officer for an industry leader. James has also held various finance roles across technology and insurance.
Before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer, James served as our Group Chief Financial Officer between 2018 and 2021 and was instrumental in the group's strategic and operational development, playing a key role in navigating the challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic. With his guidance, we're able to continue our mission of getting lives back on track.

With a busy, active family, James spends a lot of time outdoors. In the summer, he loves spending time up at the village cricket club, where he plays alongside his son. In winter, trips to the mountains and skiing are his seasonal passions.

BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Bristol.
Chartered Accountant and a fellow of the ICAEW, having been a member since 2003.
